Meta-S.W.A.T

Last night the MCPD Special Forces group known as Meta-S.W.A.T. was attacked by Chaosiris, a member of the terrorist organization RENEGADE. The assault took place after a series of heroes were attacked around Millennium City. Lt. McIlroy was at their main base, the “Garage,” preparing their combat armor for transport. The transport chopper was shot down via ground to air missile. The crash destroyed most of the Garage and set the rest of it ablaze trapping Lt. McIlroy inside.

Meanwhile, Sgt. Marone, Sgt. Phen and Agent Smith, along with MCPD Officer Taranis headed for the scene. Upon arrival the group was met with sniper fire and attacked by soldiers of the terrorist organization known as RENEGADE. All members of the party were severely injured and rushed to the hospital. Lt. McIlroy was rescued by Blandain and taken to the hospital as well.

Last report from the officials stated that the injuries are such:

Lt. McIlroy – Broken legs, broken back, severe burns over most of his body.
Sgt. Marone – Gunshot wound to shoulder and one to the abdomen, resulting in the loss of half of her liver.
Sgt. Phen – Was comatose.
Agent Smith – Took multiple gunshots all over her body.
Officer Taranis – Was shot twice, once in the chest, once in the shoulder.

With the help of Psi Lash the groups injuries were healed for the most part, Marone went into surgery where they removed a part of her liver, all of McIlroy’s burns were healed, and Taranis was healed. Phen was helped by Wyrd to return to consciousness. Agent Smith recovered using her own regeneration powers. As off last night McIlroy went into surgery to implant cybernetics in his back to regain his ability to walk.

The team is recovering at Mercy hospital, the Garage is being repaired thanks to people hired by Thundrax. However the team’s entire line of combat suits were destroyed along with the cities entire supply of B17 Protector Droids, which were temporarily being stored in a lower level.
